QWASP & Monitor Volwasseneneducatie
Monitor Volwasseneneducatie is a platform for registering, assessing and reporting on adult education: literacy, numeracy and digital skills. It has been in use since 2019; the first measurement report was delivered to the municipality of Arnhem in early 2020. Since 1 January 2025, QWASP also runs its registration module on behalf of Dutch municipalities, following the national basic dataset.
CurrentQWASP's role
QWASP supports municipalities with collecting and processing adult-education data: registering course participants, assessing digital skills, and reporting the results municipalities are required to submit to the Dutch Ministry of Education and Statistics Netherlands (CBS). This work directly informs QWASP's Qwasp Research line.
Data protection
Qwasp B.V. is listed in the Data Pro Register under the Data Pro Code, the GDPR code of conduct for personal-data processors approved by the Dutch Data Protection Authority, with Scope Europe as supervisory body and an annual audit.
